Job Description

• Previous experience working with media/advertising background is a must • New Customer Acquisition – Target and develop opportunities with key decision makers and cultivate opportunities • Develops and refines prospect lists, working with consultants/network to identify and cultivate leads • Sales Quota and Pipeline Management – Assume responsibility for delivering an annual sales quota, to record, track and report sales opportunities • Sales Expertise and Industry Insight – Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities • Leverage internal resources to enhance your efforts • Assists with Creative direction on new business pitches • Key account (Fortune 500) acquisition experience • Extensive knowledge and experience in consultative and service based selling • Proven sales track record with six and seven figure sales transactions and long (multi-month) sales cycles • Proven track record with brand sales—past success and established relationships • Large range of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier brands and advertisers considered an asset • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong client relationships with senior and executive level management  • Quick learner, fast and conceptual thinker and strong information/fact retention • Excellent verbal, written, and formal presentation communication skills • Thrives on working within a dynamic and highly collaborative team environment

Other/Special Requirements

• Able to use all related hardware and software; computer literate • A great presence and ability to put together and present solutions that sell • Create and/or review sales reports and forecasts, and ongoing status reports • Shepherd client relationships from outreach and through the stages of the sales process • Strength in business analysis and logical thinking • Strong ethics and business integrity • Deep understanding of brand and ad agency community, including active contacts • Ability and confidence to work under high pressure • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable on the phone • Fluency (written and spoken) in English; additional languages a plus • Exceptional sense of organization and attention to detail  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in marketing, business management or a related field preferred
  • 4 to 5 yrs.
