Persuasion: Copywriters need to know how to write persuasively and in some cases, defend their creative choices.
Social Perceptiveness: Copywriters need to have their finger on the pulse, so that their copy is relevant and modern, and understand how people will react to their writing.
Writing Skills: Copywriters need to write well: with proper tone, feeling, sentence structure and emotion. Grammar counts!

You are a compelling salesman/woman who uses words as a potent tool. A master of wordplay and using a clever turn of a phrase. You pride yourself at making a point in few words. Add to that a penchant for being a perfectionist where you’ll chisel away till tip of the spear is sharp enough to get to the point effortlessly.
Other than words you also possess the maturity to see the bigger picture, that the purpose of a communication agency is to help the client achieve their marketing objectives and any creative’s raison d'être is to achieve that objective. You are hence someone who can also ideate concepts and develop an entire communication concurrent with the concept.
You should also be aware of what BTL, events, activations and experiential marketing work entails and knowing that still have a childlike enthusiasm towards doing that work.
