• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in copywriting, advertising, communications or ad school.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional copywriting experience.
• Excellent command over English and an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & PowerPoint.
• Overall knowledge of how to best write for print, web and social channels.
• Strong brand development experience.
• Provide strategic and creative leadership to clients.
• Have a general sense/understanding of branding, art direction and typography and ideally have some knowledge of current design and advertising.
• Excellent conceptual and presentation skills to present it publicly.
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
• Mentors junior members of the team.
• Ability to solve communication problems with creativity across all platforms.
• Ability to switch gears smoothly, moving from one client to another.
• In sync with current trends in advertising.
• Stickler for deadlines.
This is a senior position and the incumbent is expected to manage, mentor & lead a creative team.
