Job Description

• The Studio Manager is responsible for the day-to-day production and management of creative designs for print and web. He or she will design, define and ensure implementation of the brand identity, graphical look and feel of projects.

• The Studio Manager position will collaborate with creative management,  and copywriters to ensure the best possible results for our clients by creating unique and engaging design to generate the maximum return on investment for them; differentiating them from their competitors.

• This person will need to understand, produce and encourage others to create efficient and scalable design solutions. This is a highly varied role, providing excellent opportunities for personal development in regards to team work and time management.

Other/Special Requirements

•  Excellent working knowledge of: - Photoshop - Illustrator - In Design & Acrobat. - Print processes & paper stocks Excellent personal skills including: - Creative & critical eye for detail - Ability to receive constructive criticism - People & Networking skills for dealing direct with clients and suppliers as well as networking at various business events - Ability to work alone or in a group using your own initiative This enables the jobholder to effectively deal with Beyond Colour customers to a high standard of satisfaction through minimal job escalation.
• Knowledge of contemporary & traditional design styles including the history of art. Considers the impact of decisions made upon the customer.
• Able to think laterally and creatively regarding customer design requirements, whilst using a structured thought process.
•  Capable of building a rapport with the customer.
•  Appropriate Communication skills to provide clear and concise explanations of the creative process considered towards a creative solutions to meet the customers’ needs.
• Able to empathise with the customer.
•  Able to diffuse difficult situations.

  • • Mass communication/ Journalism/ education in film and television production /coursework in entertainment business /project accounting.• Any additional experience working in a photography studio dealing directly with clients, lighting set-ups & post production. • Minimum 4-6 Years studio experience in a busy studio, dealing with clients on a daily basis and handling live briefs from concept through to completion SKILLS REQUIRED Excellent working knowledge.
